Black white and the winter solstice

Today’s wrap is inspired by the winter solstice which is occurring today 22 June. It is the shortest day of the year. This wrap uses a couple of my favourite looks…. two different papers and a monochrome palette. The amount of black and white paper is in proportion to the hours of sunlight in Melbourne. Took forever to lay the gift on the paper to get that right… but hey there’s only one winter solstice a year! Friends in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide will see less than ten hours of sunlight while those in Brisbane and Perth will see under ten and a half. Hobart gets nine hours of sun with Darwin is way out in front with a whopping eleven and a half hours.
