Full moon today 2 July affording a great opportunity to see the moon in all its glory. Also a perfect time to get to know the phases of the moon because you never know when you will be required to know the difference between a waxing gibbous and a waning crescent. We used a roll of deep blue glitter wrapping paper – which is actually quite hard to source as rolled paper ( as distinct from heavier craft glitter cardboard which easier to find but won’t fold or bend). So armed with our glitter wrap and circular hole punch we created the eight phases of the moon. If you only get one hole punch – make it a circle which is the most versatile of shapes. We remain on a mission to source more fabulous glitter paper wrap and when we find it we’ll be over the moon.
