It’s Book Lovers’ Day today 9 August – a day when we celebrate a love of books and reading. It was Marcel Proust who said “there are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favourite book.” A fabulous way to give books is to buy them throughout the year, stockpile them and then present them as a ziggurat (just wanted to use that word!!) for a birthday, at Christmas or on another special occasion. We made a beautiful tower by wrapping the books in kraft and embellishing with a navy silk cross over bow and a heart kraft tag. Perfect gift for the true book lover.
