The wrap for 29 August is inspired by the truly inspiring Cancer Council Daffodil Day appeal. The Daffodil Day appeal aims to raise $1.7million to fund the Cancer Council Queensland’s research, prevention and support services. Nationally the target is $8.7million. I’ve read the Cancer Council Queensland impact statement for the Brisbane region and I was blown away with the how the funds raised make an incredible difference to communities and families – and it’s the same across other regions. The greatest gift (this is the one time I will excuse you having no fabulous wrapping) you could give is to support Daffodil Day. To find out more or more importantly to donate, visit www.daffodilday.com.au. My wrap features a daffodil yellow paper bow with big bold loops atop a navy textured belli band and a white gloss paper. I love a good paper bow because it makes a big impact – just like Daffodil Day.
