Three cheers for Pooh

Today 18 January is the annual Winnie-the-Pooh Day. And it really is a time to celebrate all thinks Pooh, because according to the highly respected website The Bookseller, Egmont Publishing has revealed the title and authors of a new Winnie-the-Pooh sequel. The website is reporting that The Best Bear in All the World, an anthology of four stories, will be published in October 2016 to mark the 90th anniversary of the first publication of Winnie-the-Pooh. Mark Burgess will illustrate the text in the style of original illustrator E H Shepard and four authors – Paul Bright, Jeanne Willis, Kate Saunders and Brian Sibley – will write the stories. Three cheers for that!

And as Pooh would say “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart”. So I have a  heartfelt wrap with some touches of Winnie-the-Pooh masking tape and a signature bright red ribbon. I don’t feature washi or masking tape in many of my wraps. I am still learning to love it and work it to its best advantage.  I was given a fabulous book “Washi Tape” 101+ ideas for paper crafts, book arts, fashion. decorating, entertaining and party fun” and it has pprovided the impetus to keep going. As Pooh once said “You can’t stay in your corner of the forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
