31 January is Backwards Day… A day to do everything backwards and an opportunity to reverse our ways or attack things from the opposite direction. The neuroscientists would have a field day with this day, because mixing it up is just the workout the grey matter needs.
I have resisted the temptation to write this post backwards. It seemed a little drahyrt. But I could not resist the temptation to wrap in reverse with the flaps at the end of the gift (the source of so much derision) being the feature. The ribbon flows through a little cut near the end of the flap to form a lovely focal point. Now this wrap does take a little practice because firstly you flip it over and secondly it’s all about symmetry…. Can’t have one feature flap longer than the other. But if you like precision (and many of us wrappers do) you should give this little backward technique a burl.
