Where’s Viv

I am just back from North America where I spent my time seeking out for all things wrapping and carding.

In New York City I loved the fine papers at Paper Source, the gift boxes at Paper Presentation down town, and the silicon rubber band bows and pristine white Poppin scissors at Container Store. I really really loved CW Pencil Enterprise,  purveyors of superior graphite on the Lower East Side.  Their entire store is a cleverly curated celebration of the “pencil”. Or as I prefer to call it, a divine gift topper or embellishment for a stationery obsessive.

In Vancouver and Victoria I was drawn to the Regional Assembly of Text… And you know straight where I was headed in LA.  Sugar Paper in Santa Monica and Brentwood.

There is an upside to having to head home…. I will be leading classes in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and then I’m off to Life in Style, AGHA and Reed Gift Fairs in Melbourne in early August. I have been fortunate to have a sneak peak of the Christmas gift wrapping ranges from the major players and now is the time to see them up close and all gussied up.
