Daily Wrap

Today 10 March I am continuing my blossoming love affair with tissue paper which I am viewing through new eyes. Used in the wrong places in the wrong way, tissue paper is well… wrong and thin. But used to wrap and flounce bottles, it’s a heap of fun. I matched pink spotted tissue paper with a strong black and white ribbon and voila! The perfect hostess gift. I love this technique which uses extra tissue paper – a bit like hair extensions – to build out the volume at the top of the wrap while disguising the top of the bottle. I tried it with a pink bow but …oooohhh too sickly sweet but when I tried it with the black and white it was a snap.
